WHO WE ARE

WE BUILD BRIDGES.

Between cultures. Between continents. Between creative communities that were never supposed to meet — until now.

EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

THE COMPANY, IN BRIEF.

Bridgez Global is an international music, entertainment, and creative partnerships company founded by producer and songwriter Nelson “Keyz” Bridges, whose credits have contributed to five Grammy-nominated albums with RIAA Gold and Platinum certifications among them. From Atlanta, the company produces records, develops artists, and builds cross-cultural collaborations across North America, Africa, and South America — including the Eric Bellinger Cape Town albums and its signature movement, AfroBounce. The founder’s publishing is with Seventy7 Music Publishing, administered worldwide by Kobalt.

OUR MISSION

CULTURE HAS NO BORDERS.

Bridgez Global is a music, entertainment, and ventures company built on a single belief: that the world’s most powerful creative work happens when cultures collide.

We connect artists, producers, writers, and creative entrepreneurs across continents — building the environments, relationships, and infrastructure that turn cross-cultural collaboration into something real.

From Atlanta to Cape Town. From New Orleans to Lagos. From Los Angeles to Johannesburg to Medellín. We don’t just talk about a global music industry — we build it, one project at a time.

THE STORY

BORN FROM THE BRIDGE.

Bridgez Global was founded on the idea that geography should never be a barrier to great creative work. The world’s most exciting music is happening at the intersection of cultures — where Afrobeats meets R&B, where New Orleans bounce meets West African rhythms, where global pop production meets international songwriting.

We exist to create those intersections intentionally. To bring the right people into the same room — whether that room is in Cape Town, Atlanta, Lagos, or Los Angeles — and let something new happen.

Every project we touch is a bridge. Between artists. Between audiences. Between the music that exists and the music that’s waiting to be made.

THE FOUNDER

NELSON “KEYZ” BRIDGES.

THE ROOTS

Born in Waco, North Carolina, Nelson “Keyz” Bridges grew up in a single-wide trailer on a dirt road with a cotton field on the other side. At eight, his parents enrolled him in classical piano lessons; his grandfather — pastor of Mt. Zion Church of God in Gastonia — taught him to play by ear. Word of his talent spread, and he was soon playing keys for gospel acts including Harold Williamson & The Wondering Souls and Ed Will the Gospel Poet. After Burns High School in Lawndale, he attended Gardner-Webb University on a full academic scholarship.

THE ROAD

At Gardner-Webb, Bridgez met Bradrick “Rick Gee” Gregory. The two called themselves The Globetrakkers and started Globetrakkers Music Group out of their dorm room, signing their first artist, Marquiet Pettis, in 2005. In 2008, their first record hit radio — “Kiss Me” by R&B group Metal Roze — catching the ear of RCA president Mark Pitts, the Notorious B.I.G.’s former manager. Pitts managed Metal Roze for four years and brought The Globetrakkers in to produce for his girl group RichGirl.

Back in Shelby, Bridgez developed Joey Bandz and Major Maestro, both of whom went on to sign major deals. Sessions for Clinton Sparks, Jack & Jack, and Rocko followed in Los Angeles and Atlanta — and realizing his relationships were increasingly outside the Carolinas, Bridgez moved to Atlanta with longtime friend Brandon Terry. There he joined forces with Vurdell “VScript” Muller to form SupaFriendz Music, producing and writing for Chris Brown, MoneyBagg Yo, Yung Bleu, and others. On a 2020 business trip to L.A., they met Rodney “Darkchild” Jerkins, who became a mentor — and a collaborator on records for H.E.R., DaniLeigh, and Ty Dolla $ign.

THE RISE

The industry took notice. Bridgez has contributed to five Grammy-nominated albums — H.E.R.’s Back of My Mind (Album of the Year and Best R&B Album, 2022), Eric Bellinger’s New Light (Best Progressive R&B Album, 2022), Chris Brown’s Breezy (Best R&B Album, 2023), and Coco Jones’s What I Didn’t Tell You (Best R&B Album, 2024) — with RIAA Gold and Platinum certifications on his credits.

From a trailer on a dirt road in Waco to rooms with the biggest names in music, he remains what he’s always been: a student of the craft, pouring his heart into production and artist development — and building Bridgez Global as the bridge he spent his whole career crossing.

VALUES

WHAT WE STAND FOR.

01

Authentic Collaboration

We don’t manufacture diversity. We build genuine creative relationships between artists who have something real to say to each other.

02

Cultural Respect

Every tradition we work with is treated as a living, breathing creative force — not a trend to be borrowed or a sound to be appropriated.

03

Global Infrastructure

We build the systems, relationships, and infrastructure that make international collaboration sustainable — not just a one-off moment.

04

Long-Term Vision

We’re not chasing the next trend. We’re building a company that will still be relevant when the next generation of global artists needs a bridge.
